Delicious!!!!. Instead of trying the tradtional BBQ fare Kansas City is known for, we dined at Peachtree. What an amazing, pleasant surprise! This is fabulous soul food cooked the way you would experience a ”cooked from scratch Sunday dinner” at your grandmother’s house. The meat, vegetables, mashed potatoes, corn bread, greens, right down to the cobbler were all fantastic. We also thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing soft jazz music playing in the background as we dined.
I just love it I wish they could open up onone in Junction city Ks near Ft. Riley.
Mmmmm good! Great customer service. They put A lot of love in the soul food. We had baked chicken, fried chicken, cabbage, peas, green beans. It was excellent!
Mmmmmm everything is good here. Betta not eat at least one day before walking in here. Greens, fried taters and chicken, fried corn and corn bread with beans, and some killer cobbler. Gluttony perfection.
Absolutly love this soul food restaurant especially the fried chicken and fish, but the dine in Peach tree is much better than the buffet.
Lunch should not be a game.. Everybody I’ve spoken to about this place raves. It’s been on my wishlist for months. Finally made it for lunch on a Wednesday. It was 12:45 PM. Three-fourths of the tables were full. We paid our $12.50 per head, were seated at our table and ordered drinks, grabbed a plate and stepped up to the buffet to find there was almost no food. I had to chase down the waiter to finally get our drinks, although the waitress that replaced him half way through our meal kept our glasses full. When entree items were finally refilled on the line, it was a mad dash by half the room. The food we had was good. The fried chicken wings were excellent. However, it felt like the staff was intentionally not refilling the buffet so as to limit the patrons. If so, it really was a classless move.
