Blech! Small portions. High prices. Mushy white bread buns. Took dinner to a friend’s house. Tried to bring something local/ unique. Poor choice. Not enough, too pricy for what you got, skimpy on the fillings on all the different sandwiches we got. Will not repeat.

Best Philly in Town!!. I have been going to Philly Time since they first opened eight years ago on North Oak. They have always had the most amazing Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches in the city…by far. They only use Phlladelphia Chessesteak Co. meat for them and put them on Amoroso rolls. Over time I started braching out and realized that the rest of the menu is just as strong. Their wraps are great and the other hot sandwiches are tasty twis…ts on their Phillys….don’t get me started on their new burgers….AMAZING!!!They’ve moved and are now in Briarcliff Village off 169 and Briarcliff Parkway. The space is nice and the view is way better than the parking lot view over on Oak. Do yourself a favor and get over there if you never have. I promise you’ll thank me for it.
Could Use Some Tweaking. There is no question that the ingredients in these sandwiches are fresh. The large drawbacks that prevent this from being a true contender for best Philly in KC are the bread and fries. They use a very soft bun which takes on too much moisture when wrapped up will all those warm, fresh ingredients. And the fries… I can spot freezer fries from a mile away. Cut them there! Nothing complements a good sandwich like some fresh cut spuds.
