Great local food. Outstanding sandwiches and sides. I recommend the tenderloin and hamburger. Anything you get will be excellent. This place has no ambiance and hardly any place to sit but the food is the draw. Go for it!!
For what it is, it is mighty fine. This is NOT health food. This is a greasy spoon, wrapped in a diner, wrapped in a liquor store. The food is typically very good, in good quantities, and is reasonably priced. The service is great, and they cater to both blue collar and white collar customers. It is small, so get there early orcall in a carry-out order.My favorites so far are the Cuban missile and the tenderloin sandwich. I get ’em with extra crispy tots. The salads are great also, but they come with a LOT of meat, so if you want a semi-healthy lunch from here, put half the meat in a zip-loc and have it on a sandwich for dinner.

This place is great! Delicious sandwiches, huge tenderloin and daily specials. Not much seating but great good for breakfast and lunch.
Awesome!!!. Amazing lunch…..ill drive twenty miles out of my way to stop and grab a quick meatball sandwich, or a Cuban. I absolutely love the staff and atmosphere.
Delicious Food – 2 minutes from downtown. The Lunch Box will often post daily specials on their Facebook page. Knowing the quality of the food, that’s usually enough to draw me in. They have fantastic hamburgers, philly cheese steaks, tacos and more. Always very friendly and affordable. Highly recommended.
The cowboy Burger is the best Burger in town! And the onion rings are awesome.
