I’m not sure what to say about j b hooks other than it was disappointing, the food was average with a big price tag . Shrimp were like they came out of a bag already breaded the fish had no flavor. The view of the lake was great. Salads were good and very large but I didn’t come for the salad. Won’t be back. I’d recommend Bentleys down the road.Coral reef seafood supplies the area with seafood I can get the same shrimp and fry it myself I would expect a restaurant to use fresh shrimp that you could get from the same supplier and bread it yourself.
We went for Happy Hour – 1/2 price apps and 2-for-1 well drinks; a great deal! We ordered the calamari, French dip sliders, crab Rangoon, and fried green beans – everything was delicious! Split between 2 people, for $29 total (before tip) was a great deal! Prices would have been a little much otherwise, but I highly recommend happy hour! Service was excellent, too!
