Best Italian Food in St Louis. I recently ate at Paul Mineos for dinner with some friends. I havent been to West Port Plaza for some time but a friend suggested Paul Mineos. We went on a friday night and when we got there we were greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly. The service was excellent and everyone from my group ordered salads which were very good. I ordered the Filet stuffed with shrimp and crap meat and it was to die for. It was honestly one of the best steaks I have ever had. The other people in my group really enjoyed their entrees as well. One friend got the Sea Bass and really loved it and my other friend got pasta which he said was awesome. All in all this was an amazing dining experience with great food and great service. I would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone going for a romantic dinner or just hanging with a group of friends.
Decent but Better Options for $. Don’t get me wrong, the food was decent, but unfortunately just didn’t stand up to my standards of a high-end Italian restaurant. Not for the price. The server was OUTSTANDING. Very attentive and very helpful in choosing our meals. However, that was the best part of the experience. The food needs to be. I’ll try it one more time and repost another rating.
