Decent lunch for the price. I stopped by the restaurant for the first time last week. I arrived early to beat the lunch hour rush since I did not know how busy the place would become. They were quick to take my order of Mongolian Beef, but extemely slow to make it. I waited for almost 20 minutes before my order was ready. Many people that came in after me received their food. I guess they all ordered easy items like like sweet and sour (never understood the obsession for that). I was suprised it took so long since there were 5-6 cooks in the back (from what I could see) and 6 people behind the counter. Organized chaos. The food made up for the wait, however I was disappointed that their was 75% rice and only 25% Mongolian Beef. At least the rice was fried and part of the meal. Normally fried rice costs extra at other restaurants. The crab rangoon was a nice side too. I will definitely go back and will try something different that will hopefully not require me to wait for the cow to be butchered at the time of the order.

Love it!. This has got to be my favorite fast, Chinese food. It’s cheap, I can order online and they will deliver to my work. My only suggestion would be to find a way to take credit card payments along with the order online.

I have been ordering wok express for a couple years now.It is by far the best chinese resturant in st.louis.I always order the sweet and sour chicken no sauce with a side of hot braised sauce ots.1 order of veggie spring rolls (make sure to dip those into the hot braised sauce) and finally 1 order of crab ragoon. And i can honestly say im never dissapointed.

Fast, Non-Greasy Chinese. I used to love Chinese, but a few years ago, the typical greasiness really started getting to me. I’d pretty much given it up in favor of the less greasy Japanese and Thai. However, after trying Wok Express, I’m back to eating Chinese again. Their food is much fresher tasting, and MUCH less greasy. I’ve tried many entrees with largely positive results. Kung Pao Chicken is a favorite, as well as the Chicken and Broccoli. The vegetable tempura is good too, made to order, and you get a ton for the few bucks it costs. I love the soups as well, and always get one with my entree. The only dish I was disappointed in was the lo mein. When I ordered it the noodles were overdone. But overall, some of the best fast Chinese I’ve ever had, with a fresh, non-greasy appeal.

Has to be one of St. Louis’ best chinese. When you look at the price of under 5 dollars, you would think you get either lots of crappy chinese, or a little bit of good chinese … but man you get a lot of very tasty chinese food.Their combo menu is available from the time they open till close. It’s not one of those only for lunch menus. With a hefty serving of rice and generous portions of whatever entree you get, along with 2 tasty crab rangoons ….for 5 bucks … come on! can’t beat that. The service is fast (almost as fast as Jimmy Johns), food taste fresh, and most of the things up there in the combo menu is tasty (except for crispy cashew chicken … I am not a fan of gravy) but the Pineapple Chicken and the Garlic Sauce Choice Beef spicy … has to be my 2 top favorite. I live 30 minutes away from the restaurant and I still feel it’s worth the drive. Totally recommend!

Very good. For $5 this is an unbeatable deal. Their spice is different from most small take-out restaurants and adds a great taste to their dishes. I had the General tso chicken combo. I got the egg roll, and probably wouldn’t pay extra for it again, but the actual dish was great.
