An average place!! St Louis crowd goes gaga but I found it just another club. The worst part is the sticky dance floor as if it has never been cleaned. The bartenders are expressionless n not so happening. Coming from Boston, i found it extremely mediocre.
Pretzel burger is great but everything else i have ordered has been questionable.
All around great experience! We came for dinner and stayed for drinks. Get the pretzelburger (amazing) and waffle fries with queso! The service was great! The manager checked in on us and filled us in about the place, great management! Stay for drinks when the place gets packed! We’ll be back for sure!
I could have brewed my own beer faster. I really wanted to like this place. It’s dark, it’s got books everywhere ( I only read TV Guide, but still, it adds to the ambience) and I really liked the beer pong tables.But, and it’s a Jennifer Lopez or Monique but, logistically, the place doesn’t work. They herd everyone in directly to the only open bar. There were four bartenders behind the bar, but only two of them were working, the other two were either flirting with the ones working or checking their Blackberrys.They need to rethink their space, make it more conducive to serving large amounts of people, or maybe add another smaller bar in the back. More bars means more people can get drinks, more drinks equals more money for the owners.
Worth catching before/after SLU game but avoid the food. Library Annex is down by the St. Louis University campus. It’s a great place to watch sports (lots of plasmas aligned behind the bar, think of a small casino sports book) and plenty of bar games (foosball, darts, billiards, beer pong) to keep your time occupied. While it’s a fine place to be recreational and have some drinks, I recommend avoiding the food. I’ve eaten here twice and won’t touch that hot stove a third time. I was drawn to the burger because it has a pretzel bun but the burger itself was obviously preformed and had a very spongy texture, I stopped after two bites.Note that late night on the weekends that Library Annex pulls a pretty young crowd (lots of college students).
