Ok so we didn’t know about this place because the reviews on the service wasn’t good. My sister said the food was good. We had a great meal and the service was excellent. Papaya salad was great. We will be going back.
I love this restaurant! After Thai Place closed in Westport I was looking for a good phad thai, and everything just kept coming up short… Until Spices! I love the phad Thai, but my favorite dish is definitely the green curry chicken. Its flavorful and rich, and perfect for those bitter cold winter dinners. So good! There’s a lot of comments about the service, I’ve dined in a few times and never had a problem. I usually get takeout since it’s quite near to where I live, and I’ll say the staff are a little abrupt in their dealings with customers, but always respectful and dedicated to making sure the food tastes great. If you need to be pampered, maybe skip dining in, but if you’re looking for delicious and authentic Asian fusion, don’t pass this one up!
I totally agree with Roman Michael on the staff’s friendliness and courtesy at this restaurant. The food was great. The summer rolls were outstanding yet the Thai papaya salad was a little substandard. Overall, good food but we can use a little improvement on the server’s side. 🙂 Next time, I will order a take-out instead.
Wow !!! This place is great. I was definitely expecting a knock off Americanized version of Thai and it was anything but. I had the duck noodle soups it had off the charts flavor. I got my order to go and it came with a generous portion of basil jalapeo and bean sprouts . Will definitely be back to try …. Everything
