EXCLLENCE Five Stars!!. Bella Vino Wine and Tapas is an excellent dining choice in the entire St Louis metropolitan area. Regardless if you have to drive 30 minutes or longer like myself, you will NEVER be disappointed. The food, the service, the ambiance and atmosphere are a sure treat and experience every time. You will be glad you dined there!!
Absolutely Delicious!!! Food was ansolutely delicious, great prices, great atmosphere. Loved it!!!! Def coming back!!
Upbeat and hip. Great, unique food combinations without getting too weird. Calamari was AWEsome!
Service was great, waitress was attentive & friendly. Food was sadly mediocre. The ahi tuna was a bit overcooked, which isnt a deal breaker, but it also had several tough sinewy bites that were unchewable–which is unacceptable. The spicy meatballs weren’t terrible but way overpriced for the nondescript, & undersized, balls of meat that were served. And the flatbread pizza crust wasnt light & crisp as expected, it was just doughy & Domino’s-ey. Yet another among the the throng of unexceptional restaurants on main street.
Bad service. Went to there for my birthday on March 13. They put us upstairs and we’re slow with food. We went through 4 wines on list before you had one in stock. The food tasted very good but we’re very small servings and over priced for what it was. $3 for 1 stuffed fig, a salad for $7 that was the size of a side salad. We weren’t very impressed at all.
Adorable!. This place is so charming! The wine selection was unique and varied and the food was delicious as well. We tried the flatbread, a pasta with Chicken and Shrimp, and also a tapa with quinoa and grilled shrimp. We had the gooey butter cake and cinnamon gelato for dessert and it was the best gooey butter cake I’ve ever eaten! I will definitely go back here!!!
Bella Vino is an absolutely exquisite epicurean experience. My wife and I discovered them on Dec 29th. The food was so good that I feel like my mouth committed a sin and has to go to confession. We had the Duck Prosciutto Flatbread with Gorgonzola, caramelized onions and pine nuts. It was the perfect blend of earthy salty flavors. The Grilled Shrimp over Quinoa was bright and exciting. The flavors and textures just exploded on the palate. Their Pimento Mac-n-Cheese with a Butter Cracker Crust was sinfully decadent. The Green Chilies provided just the right accent. It is the best Mac-n-Cheese I have ever tasted. The dcor is simple elegance without a hint of pretentiousness to be found anywhere, simply Old World European. My wife and I have traveled extensively and Bella Vinos dcor and atmosphere transported us back to some of the finest restaurants in Europe that we have had the pleasure to experience. Bella Vino has single-handedly raised the overall quality of dining in St. Charles County 200%.-what a lovely email to receive from a customer!
