First timers. My husband and I just went here yesterday. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly! I had pulled chicken and my husband had pulled pork. Both were full of flavor and delicious! Also recommend the fries pickles!
Best BBQ! I eat here sometimes twice a week. Everything is delicious. My favorite is the big woodies brisket sandwich with fried okra (huge portion of okra). My wife loves the Hillbilly Philly but she gets it with chicken instead of pork. The hot mess sandwich is another one of my faves. I would suggest calling ahead to reserve a pork stake but it is well worth it. Melt in your mouth!
Best BBQ around. Big Woody and his staff really know how to serve up the best BBQ in town. His menu is one where everything on it is top notch, leaving you wondering what to have. Personal favorites include the ribs (fall off the bone), beef brisket, and the Hillbilly Philly. Service and pricing it great too, which is clearly why there are always repeat customers lining up to enjoy. Don’t miss out on this place!. It took me way too long to try Big Woody’s, and I don’t know why! This is some of the best BBQ I have had, and I’ve had some of the very best in Kansas City, Texas, Oklahoma, Memphis, Nashville, etc. Our family, including our young kids, really like this place. I love eating at local BBQ places who take pride in the product they serve. The brisket at Big Woody’s is wonderful and the pulled pork is great too. The meat is tender, juicy, and has a great smoky flavor!
Fantastic Pork Steaks. This is the first time I have ever eaten pork steaks that are so tender I didn’t even need a knife. It was Fantastic! My wife and I each had two meals from one order of the gigantic pork steak. Keep doing that Woody! The whole menu was good, especially the fried corn. A hidden treasure in old St. Charles.
I tried the sampler called the single wide. It came with chicken, pork, beef, 2 sides ( I chose BBQ beans and fries) bread and hog ball (hush puppy w/ meat & cheese). It was all really good!!! The owner was very friendly as well. I will go back again 🙂
Absolutely yummy BBQ! I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was moist and tasty. It was served on a garlicky Texas toast, delish! My bf (a self-proclaimed brisket connoisseur) was already planning our next trip back before we even finished our meal 🙂
