Great Food! Great Lunch! Great Service!. Went for lunch to Concetta’s based upon co-workers recommendation and will definitely be back! Very good food and prices as well as service. I had the Chicken David which comes with a salad and pasta. Was very well seasoned and portions were great! Would recommend for sure!
Smoke Free?. When standing in the ladies restroom you can smell the cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen. For being a smoke free restaurant that is absurd. That being said, I absolutely love the price, I absolutely love the dcor, I absolutely love the staff, and I absolutely love the food. I love everything about Concetta’s, but something must be done about the kitchen staff smoking around the food.
Had the blackened salmon which wasn’t really blackened. It was an over salty sweet something baked on top. The fettuccine was over done and Alfredo too thin for my taste. I would come back and try again but I didn’t like it.
Love the food here. My favorite pasta would have to be the tortellini and I love the chicken daniel
Good Dinner. My husband and I have been coming here for years. We love the Chicken Daniel and the Steak Arcobaso. They have a wonderful salad with a thick and creamy house salad dressing (creamy italian) that is our favorite. They have really good red and white sauces, so their pasta’s are delicious as well. Very freindly girls wait on us in the evening. They also have very reasonable lunch specials. We will definately continue to enjoy the food here.
Non smoking suprise. My wife and I went to Concetta’s Friday after the first of the year and went to the bar to have a drink before dinner and discovered they had gone to a totally non smoking restaurant. We loved it! We asked if the whole City of St. Charles had done this and the bartender said no that it was just time for them to do it. Super surprised we had our drink went to our table in the backroom by the fireplace and had a great dinner and service was wonderful.
Not impressed. My mother and I were shocked with this Restaurant. My mom ordered a glass of wine that was undrinkable, and instead of our server apologizing he sniffed the glass and took it back. Then, our server told us that glass was poured from a fresh bottle. Obviously not correct. When our salads came our my mother was drenched in dressing, when she asked for it on the side, and my Cesar was yellow, and the lettuces had brown spots. When our actual entrees didn’t come out much better. My mother ordered Chicken Picatta which didn’t possess a single caper and tasted like a mushroom wine sauce. I ordered their prime rib, which showed up to the table on a plate way too small, and instead of draining the meat if came with a broth and trying cut the meat was almost impossible without spilling something on myself. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
