Decent Chicken Parmigiana. I tried Frankie Tocco’s for the first time tonight. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, as it is one of my go-to meals. It came with a salad that was drowned in ranch and covered in provel. I did not grow up in St. Louis, so I cannot stand provel or any other imitation cheese. The chicken parmigiana was decent. It was not like most, in that it had a very light breading, and seemed to be pan or oven fried. This means that it doesn’t sit heavy after eating, which was nice. It sat upon marinara sauce and was covered with mozzerella and parmesan cheeses (no provel!). The chicken and sauce each had good flavor. It also came with a side of pasta with red sauce. I wasn’t a big fan of this sauce, as it was very thin and watery. Seemed like it was mostly just tomato sauce with some parsley sprinkled on top. The chicken was enough to warrant another visit.
