Good food. The food is good. I’ve been 3 times on Saturday nights and the music was so loud that you have to yell to talk to the person next to you. If you like live music and a crowd then this is the right place for you, but if you want conversation go somewhere else.
Birthday dinner at Massas. Dec 9 took my mother out for her 74th b-day. We kept it close to home and made our 3rd trip to Massas in St. Charles, MO. Food was good. Service was lacking with refills, incorrect orders and coffee took for ever. The details: My large pizza came out as a small. Was told that a large pizza would be brought out and to start on the small. Was thinking that’s a nice gesture. Well, server told me the kitchen staff made an executive decision and made a medium instead since in their mind, a small and a medium makes up a large.. Can’t argue with that logic…. Like a stated, food is good with service a hit/miss. I kept it thumbs up since Massas did have a very large Soccer party on bar side and that’s always a pain to work around. Was just hoping for one of those magical dinner experiences for Nana’s birthday..
Best steak in town! Love the Pepe Medallions. Great cocktails and great service. I appreciate the higher dining experience Massas has brought to St Charles.
Been here a few times really good food. But last time we came waitress seem like her boyfriend and friend that came in where more important then waiting on her customers.
My wife, my daughter and I had an outstanding experience at Massas tonight. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. Not in your face. But there when we needed it. Our server was attentive and helpful. The martinis were delicious as was the house merlot/cab. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
I want more!!!. I have eaten and hung out here several times. I have yet to have a bad experience. I love the decor for starters; it is swanky, sheik and sexy. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in for the first time! Service was friendly and prompt. Great food! The stuffed portabella appetizer are to die for as well as the seafood pastas. This location has great nightlife. The ambiance has a comfortable, sexy lounge feel, music is great and drinks are strong!!!!!
Slow and Rude. Worst service I have ever experienced at any restaurant. Service was ridiculously slow even for a Friday night (over an hour and a half and no bread or salad). Waitress was so rude and seemed to be going out of her way to ignore us. The manager was very confrontational and instead of a simple apology we we’re chastised like children for complaining. Needless to say we left before our food arrived and will not be returning. Until they have new management I would never recommend Massas.
