I really hate to say that the food was bad but it was awful. The old server was a sweet guy but spilled water on my son and myself and the Filet Mignon was flavorless and dry, bit to mention raw. I was very disappointed and will never return as it felt like an old folks home. Bless them but it was bad.
A place worth a 7 hour drive. If you want a place where not only the food but the staff and atmosphere are outstanding. Reservations are a must. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The owner greeted us and showed us to our table in a dining room that takes you back in time! The menu is simple but will fill ever taste! The salad bar is like no other with many home made items you must try! Donna the owner always has a treat for each diner and Dave? brings by another favorite. The seasoned rice must be tried in place of the potato – (but someone brings you the toppings for the bake potato). Each item on the menu has a gourmet touch. Desserts – coconut pie or peach cobbler must be shared with others. Dinner is at a leisure pace with a great atmosphere to absorb. This is a family serving your every need!
