Quite Disappointing. Went to try Padavans NY early on Saturday evening recently. Very disappointed with the food and service. Ordered two house salads-had wilted bits -very unappetizing. Ordered 18 in cheese pizza-short on flavor and could’ve been cooked in a hotter oven. Also ordered several sandwiches which were served on ciabatta bread which proved to be too doughy for the sandwich fillings. The waitress was very nice-just a bit scattered. All in all, not going to try it again.
Awesome place to eat! They have great food and the staff is awesome! Everyone was super friendly and we got our food right away. Will for sure be coming back
The sauce was a little too sweet for my taste and the crust tasted like it had sat in flour too long. The staff was super friendly and attentive, we will come back and give Padavan’s a second chance.
A GREAT local business! Just hosted a large group of friends for a post fall bike ride chili dinner, the chili was AMAZING, and the service was top notch! Great restaurant I will continue to support them. Make sure you try their NY style pizza and delicious wings.
First of all our waitress India is unbelievably AWESOME!Padavan roll has convinced me to be a sushi lover. Soooooo good…..wings delish too. One thing missing Brownie Sundaes or something. While the chocolate lava cake and bread pudding is great. It’s just not s brownie sundae. Did I mention India is AWESOME!
My new breakfast go-to place. Weekends and eating breakfast out go together. Padavans NY is known more as a sports bar and dinner place, but theyve started opening at 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Youll find pancakes, French toast, biscuits & gravy and omelets on the menu; but what got my attention was the eggs Benedict. Its my favorite and they know how to do it right. The eggs Benedict comes with home fries and caramelized onions. Its reasonably priced so much so that I make a point to eat there almost every weekend. Things get busy around 10:00 a.m. so if youre like me and like to read the paper, have several cups of coffee, listen to mellow music and ease into the day, come early. Were never rushed and the wait staff (Amy & Hillary) take care to make sure you have everything needed to enjoy a quality breakfast. Markus, the Executive Chef, even comes out of the kitchen to check on the customers. Where else does that happen? Padavans NY is in New Town which is a little off the beaten path, but if you live anywhere in St. Charles, its worth the short drive.
No need to look any further. I can’t say enough great things Padavan’s. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The menu has a variety of options to suit all tastes. I’ve been multiple times and each time tried something different. I have never been disappointed. They have the best fries in St Louis, hands down. When the weather is nice, it’s great to sit out on the patio and they have great musical acts on weekends. All in all, I couldn’t recommend a better place!
