Similar to Firehouse Subs and Pot Belly’s. Same sandwich options and price point. Nothing super special or unique. Was expecting a special Pickle or something as it’s called Picklemans but nothing fun that way either. $7.75 for a sandwich and chips.

JSADM. I went there on a Tuesday evening. I waited in a very cramped line for 35 min there was only 6 or 7 people in front of me, but they offer pizza too so if someone orders a pizza you have to wait for that person in front of you that ordered that pizza. At this restaurant you have to wait in line while you order and they make your food. Trying to be like subway. Obviously they are not. I paid 10 dollars for a nasty burn turkey sandwich that tasted like pizza. the sandwich was 90 percent bread, 2 thin slices of turkey and two tiny tomatoes with a pinch of lettuce and mayo. I was so pissed, it tasted generic and it was burnt. The best part was the chips and soda. Never again

Good Pizza. We go to Picklemans a lot! Good sandwiches and I love their pizza. They are on the small side but perfect for my husband and me. You can watch them make the pizza and they are very particular about spreading everything out to the edge and getting enough toppings on it. Have always had friendly service.

Hard roast beef with cheese and aunju was very good.

Disappointed there was no nod to MIZZOU anywhere to be found. Very commercial feeling (almost the same at Potbelly’s on the inside). Very nice staff- wanted to love it.

Fresh ingredients makes it better. I recently had picklemans for lunch bi ordered the garden chop salad and was impressed by the freshness of the vegetables. It was prepared nicely and a generous salad. The price was a little more than I had hoped for considering the $5 lunches being promoted by other popular restaurants, but as mentioned freshness and generous portion goes a way with me. I can’t vouch for the service as it was a pickup and I didn’t pick it up.

So at PICKLEMAN’S you have to pay extra for PICKLES. This was just the first in a series of disappointments at pickleman’s. The sandwiches were tasty, but very expensive considering that were tiny. Just to give you some reference here these sandwiches are about two-thirds the size of a Jimmy johns sandwich. The staff was not particularly friendly or helpful. And did I mention they charged me $.79 for two pickle spears? Bottom line: with St. Louis Bread Co., Penn Station, Subway, Jimmy Johns, and mr. Goodcents in the area there is no reason to waste your time and money at PICKLEMAN’S where the PICKLES cost extra.
