First visit to Pio’s Friday night. Food and staff were fantastic. We will absolutely return.
Mediocre at best…. We went to visit Pio’s on a Saturday, early in the evening. Not too crowded, we were seated quickly and service was average. We ordered an appetizer of Garlic Cheese Bread, and two entrees. The appetizer came out quickly and was o.k., but drowned in butter. Our meals came out VERY QUICKLY after that. Wasn’t difficult to see why they were ready so fast. My dish was pretty much plain old pasta, pre-made sauce and dried up old chicken tossed on top. My wife ordered a pasta dish as well, don’t even recall what it was, but it was so bad and full of garlic she couldn’t eat it. I finished my meal, but regretted it later. Won’t be back.
Should re-name the place Pee Ewe cuz that’s what the food tasted like. Both items we had were obviously pre-prepared frozen dinners……yuck. Won’t be back.
Great place!. As previously mentioned, Pio’s is a little slow because everything is cooked to order – but that is fine with me! The food is excelent! Try the clam chowder to start. And as far as the main course goes… I really don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.
