  Great fish tacos

  Lousy food and service. We went there on Sunday afternoon at 1:00, 3 tables were occupied, this should have been a clue as the food and service were terrible. Our server was more concerned with BSing with other employees than taking our order or bringing our food when it was finally ready. PS, it sat up there under a light bulb for quite a while we waited. When we did finally get our food the only good thing we got were the chips and the beer, the fries were under cooked, cold, soggy, my wife got the Big ass fish sandwich, it was big, not good. The fish must have been fried as long as the fries, her stomach hasn’t been right for two days now, and she’s not a complainer. The other three of us got the Sloppy Joe and it was only marginal. We didn’t even get an offer to make any of it right, or even an explanation. We won’t be going back and will warn others.. Too bad, this place is right down the road from our house!

  Great service by Josh this evening! The Big Sky Burger is one of the best hamburgers I have ever had! Nice atmosphere. I can’t wait until the weather warns up to try the patio.

  I patronize Blue Sky Cafe fairly often, and lately the service has not been very good. I forgot a scarf on the table at the end of the evening–the area we were seated in was deserted. I called first thing the next morning- gave my servers name, and asked if they had it. The manager said that it was not. I told him I fully understand that they are not responsible for lost items, however, either my server or someone else that worked there must have taken it. He was very unfriendly, didn’t even offer to ask my server What may have happened to it. I’m very disappointed.

  After waiting a ridiculous amount of time for or food (now I know why the place was empty. My Buffalo chicken wrap arrived only to discover the chicken was still FROZEN! My friends gyro was wrapped in a stale pita and served with limp, greasy fries. The ladies next to us all took one bite of their pizza and that was it.12 Aug, 2012After waiting a ridiculous amount of time(in a half Empty place). The chicken was still FROZEN in the middle and the fries were limp and grease soaked. Major gross!!!

  Today my friends and I stopped by blue sky cafe off winghaven for lunch. Our first thoughts of the atmosphere is inviting and warm. The front door is in a weird place but that is typical with newer strip malls. My friend preferred the ‘church’ pew bench we were seated at. We ordered the chicken lollipops skewers. DRY as the sahara. The chicken is scorched where it was left to dry out on the grill. The dipping sauce needed some heat to balance the soy honey glaze on the chicken. First thoughts after receiving our entrees. Crinkle cut fries from a frozen bag to start and greasy. The cheese was not melted on any of our sandwiches. My friends blue sky melt was not hot enough and the pork was undistinguishable and under seasoned. I ordered the brisket sandwich. Soggy and dry bland brisket I was expecting braised brisket and a good jus to keep the meat moist and the bun was falling apart before I picked it up for the first bite. I left half the sandwich uneaten because the bun can no longer lift up innards. After today’s experience I will be back one more time to try dinner. So far I’m disappointed. Mji.
