Nachos went from best to garbage and over priced plate of chips.. Used to frequent Ethyl’s for the nachos. Last 3x they were nothing but a pile of chips with melted cheese. They have cut back meat drastically and have raised the price. They used to be the best nachos anywhere, but now, they are horrible, overpriced rip off. Have quit going due to this.
Waitstaff was slow and unattentive. Burger was way overcooked and flavorless.
Ordered the brisket for dinner and it was so dry and overcooked that I could not swallow it. My wife ordered the pulled pork and it also was very dry.
Great Food and Atmosphere. My favorite thing to get is the pulled pork sandwich. They have great BBQ and Burgers, and Ethyl’s is also known for their bacon dressing. Delicious! The atmosphere is much like a bar with pool, darts, etc. but the inside is non smoking due to a recent law put in place by the city of O’Fallon. Outside the have a second bar, patio, playground, TVs, and two volleyball courts. It’s really a great place to take your family or to watch the game. The staff is also very friendly and made my experience a great one.
Worthy of a drive to O’Fallon. Very good BBQ. Worth a visit. I have been several times now and can say this is in my Top 4 BBQ Places to eat. Smoked Meats are flavorful and vibrant. Pulled Pork had no visible fat. Brisket Potato Skins will make you want to come back for more. Homemade Kettle chips are Awesome! BBQ sauce on the table, where it belongs. BBQ Nachos on my wish list when I return. Large restaurant with seating indoor and out. Non-Smoking. Large bar area. Playground for children. Two sand volleyball courts. Ample parking on both side of building. Ethyl’s has thought of everything.
Nice outdoor dining area. Salads and BBQ are both very good.
Food was really good. My husband and I ate here last month and found the Bar B Que to be excellent. Attentive staff and fun atmosphere. We look forward to returning!
