As always – GREAT!!!. Today was about the 15th time I have visited Wine Country Gardens since it opened. I have waited too long to write a review. It was crowded, the music was good and the weather was perfect. We had a couple of appetizers which were the chips w/cheese sauce and the Spinach & Artichoke Rangoon. The Spinach & Artichoke Rangoon is fabulous. For lunch we had a Rueben Sandwich w/chips, Hawaiin Salad and the Smoked Apple Turkey Salad. Even though the place was being enjoyed by a huge crowd the food arrived in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious. The portions are large. The waitress was pleasant and didn’t rush and had a beautiful smile which my grandson noticed. She was cute. I do wish they would start producing some of their own wine soon since I believe it would be just as good as the food they serve.
Afternoon at Wine Country Gardens. Yesterday afternoon my husband and I joined some neighborhood friends for lunch at Wine Country Gardens in Defiance, Mo. What a wonderful surprise! The weather was perfect – sunny, pleasant breeze, beautiful scenery. And the food was wonderful! I decided to try the Fish Tacos. They were absolutely delicious! After lunch we decided to stroll through the garden side. The first thing you notice is a gorgeous field of lillies in a rainbow of colors! The many different varieties of hydrangeas was also something to see. There were also many other flowers and plants from which to choose. We all had a very enjoyable time.
