  Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! The Soulard pizza and Pepperoni pizza are both winners! Highly recommend to anyone looking for some great pizza in St. Louis. It was a cool atmosphere too!

  Just moved to the soulard area, and being a foodie I want to try all the good restaurants around me. This one is very close so I figured I’d give it a try. I’m very glad that I did. Although I love meat on my pizza, this place did not need it. Ordered the Bianca with a bechamel sauce and it was one of the best pizzas I ever ate. Will be back to try more.

  Odd Vote Out. It looks like I’m not with the crowd on this one but I was a little let down with our lunch this past Saturday at Pizzeoli. What I didn’t like: not much flavor to the tomato sauce, burnt bits of crust leaving a bitter taste in many bites, and no option for meat other than vegan sausage. The texture of the crust was great and the mozzarella pretty good, but it wouldn’t be my go-to place by a long shot. Our table ordered one mixed salad, two margherita pizzas, and one funghi pizza. All pizzas were burned in multiple small places which didn’t seem like a big deal looking at it but as I said, wasn’t pleasant to eat; and all were just not as flavorful as we hoped for. If you don’t eat meat, then this is the place for you but as an omnivore, I would really like some good meat on my pizza.

  I can die a happy woman now. This is my favorite pizza place ever – and I love pizza (but really, who doesn’t?). As a vegetarian, I love that all their pizzas are vegetarian or vegan. I’ve tried several different pizzas and have nothing but compliments about them. The place itself is tiny, so be aware when you venture there! We’ve taken out pizza few times, but I think eating there really enhances the experience. The oven is very cool.

  Great pizza. We went to try this place based on reviews and having two vegetarians with me who love pizza. We learned that this place serves vegans as well, they use vegan meat but it’s definitely worth it. We got two pizzas for 3 people, (12 inches per pizza) and we’re happy. We had the Bianca and sweet pepper pizza with vegan sausage. We all loved what we had and couldn’t be more surprised by the vegan sausage. It tasted like actual sausage to me, this is coming from a meat eater. The crust feels and tastes very similar to naan bread, which was very good with some char from the brick oven. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the St. Louis area again. This pizza was a nice change from what I’m use to and is on my list of best pizza places I’ve been to. It also didn’t take very long for our pizza but the place wasn’t busy at all. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good, authentic pizza. Even meat eaters!

  A Unique Eating Experience. Being a self-proclaimed pizza nut, I was excited to learn about the new Pizzeoli opening in the city. I went with a range of different friends from health fanatics to tight-pants wearing self-deniers. Some of us were caught off guard with the no meat option, but we were quickly distracted like a kid in a toy shop once the fire oven in the middle of the room caught our attention. We all ordered different pies and quickly consumed everything set in front of us. We were all surprised and pleased with the food served, knowing that we’ll be back when the urge for original, Neapolitan pizza strikes again. Service was exceptional when we were there as well. Would recommend.

  SO good! The veggie meats taste real, you would never know the difference. Great service, really nice owner and staff.
