We just had the AYCE KBBQ tonight as we were traveling back home from vacation. This was our first experience with the table grill and I enjoyed it very much. The bulgogi was my favorite, and we also tried the brisket, the pork belly (first time), and the chicken (non spicy). There were so many banchan (side dishes) that we couldn’t finish everything. We also had the spicy kimchee soup. The soup had a rich flavor that I enjoyed a LOT! Everything was AYCE except the soup. We also had sodas which were not free refills. We left very stuffed and satisfied. The staff were very friendly, and the place was bustling with customers.
The AYCE was superb. I would recommend to anyone who likes meat. The quality of banchan varies with time but generally good too. I particularly like their menu that is bound as a booklet so I don’t have to juggle multiple pages. The place was a little unclean.. There were unswept floor areas in the restrooms and tears in the leather seat/couch, colorless but sticky stains on the table (Sprite spilled on the table?). Tips: 1.The minute the food being cooked and you still feel like you could have more, order the next wave of bulgogi asap, for you do not want to be waiting with empty plates gazing at the food in speechless dismay. 2. The food residues pile up quickly and after a while they go burnt. The servers do not provide courtesy clean on the grill or scrappers for you, so you need to flag down the staff and request them to switch out the grill racks. It was busy and noisy on Saturday nights and I had to speak loud like hailing a cabdriver.
Will be back. All I can say is great food great service. What more is there.
Was busy on a Sat night of course waited almost a hour but we’ll worth the wait good food experience and service
Nice n busy place. The place was pretty busy when we went. There food was ok I had better Korean food the only thing I like about this place is that they give you a lot of little kimchi plate with all kind of side then most place does. The price is reasonable.
Two Words. Meat Sweats. Eat too much every time I come here. Worth it every time.
Went here for lunch 10 minutes after they opened…already this place had quite a few diners on a Tuesday. I ordered the stone bowl bibimbap….delicious but next time I’d like to add some meat to it. My boyfriend had the pork bulgogi lunch and it was very good, a little spicy. Nice atmosphere and good service…it is hard to find a good Korean restaurant with decent prices. They have a $20 a person all you can eat Korean BBQ for two people so if u are hungry that is highly recommended. I would definitely eat here again.
