Sushi was good. Atmosphere was unique and fun. The giant Gundam mural was fun. The evening went well, and I would have given it a higher rating, but when the waitress brought my change, she put $15 worth of 5 dollar bills on top of the receipt and one 5 dollar bill underneath the receipt. It made it feel like she intentionally put the bills in this order to ensure that she received $5. That kind of soured the evening as I always tip appropriately. Don’t appreciate the sneakiness, because I almost didn’t catch it.

Horrible service. My husband and I were in town last weekend and decided to try the all you can eat sushi. We placed our order for our first 3 rolls. 15 minutes later we got 2 out our 3 rolls. We waited 10 minutes after finishing our 2 rolls before the waitress even came back to check on us. We placed another order for 2 rolls and waited. 20 minutes later and we finally got our rolls. The sushi wasn’t bad but the service was HORRIBLE considering that they automatically charge you 18% gratuity when you choose the all you can eat option. I even complained to the waitress and nothing was done about it.

Not my best experience here last night. I’ve dined here many times and usually have decent service and excellent food. Last night was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years. I can’t even remember the last time I had to ask for a manager. We were seated as usual and brought waters, but then the very long wait began. We were chatting so it didn’t bother us as much at first that no one had come to take our drink order. However, I soon realized that 15-20 minutes had passed and we were worried because we wanted to get our drinks in before happy hour ended. Around this time, the server came and took our drink and food orders and left again to god knows where. It took another 25 minutes for us to get drinks (we actually had to flag down a different server to inquire). App took 30-35 minutes and was cold (as if left sitting). We didn’t complain about app at all just dealt with it. However, after our sushi came 50 minutes after ordering (only 3 small rolls), and 1hour 10 minutes after being seated (due to long wait for server), we were pissed. These rolls had obviously been sitting for 30 minutes or more and were now stale and not fresh at all. We could not find our server, so we flagged down a different server again. All we asked was to have it replaced (but not to take anything off the bill, even though that would have been totally appropriate in this situation). The server blew us off and then came back and offered us a free glass of wine. Totally inappropriate given the situation. We told her to go back and get a manager. She seemed flaky yet again. Another 20 minutes passed, and right as we were about to get up and start seeking the manager ourselves, it appeared that the manager noticed that we were not happy and came to ask us what was going on (it did not appear that either server had told her about our complaint). She was wonderful though. She immediately had her chef make us fresh sushi and apologized for the service. She even took 50% off the sushi even though we told her it was fine. The new sushi was perfect. The manager told us that she checked with the chef and he corroborated our story about the sushi sitting for more than 30 minutes. Overall, I was super disappointed, but I will still go back since now I know who to find if something goes wrong.

Tried the all you can eat sushi on Monday… thumbs up. They only serve all you can eat sushi on Monday. And it was good. The sushi arrived swiftly and the rice — the foundation of sushi — was neither too cold nor too warm. The toppings were quite fresh. Service was all right, given that it was somewhat crowded when I was there. I like the Japanese manga/anime theme.

Dropped in because the all you can eat sushi caught me eye. Quality was not good enough to get me back. I ended up ordering a 3 roll combo, all of which were decent rolls. Good taste and fresh, but not worth the price. My wife had the tonkatsu and it was terrible. The park was tough and chewy, it was not pleasant at all. After living in Japan for 3 years I have become very picky about Japanese restaurants and this one doesn’t make the cut.
