This place is huge! We really enjoyed walking through the place and seeing the different themed rooms. The staff was really nice, but it was chaotic. We all got the Western Wagyu Burger. It was pretty tasty, but the cheese kind of tasted like canned spray cheese – so I wasn’t the biggest fan of that. Buffalo fries were pretty amazing. It’s worth going once to see the inside of this place.
Very nice place, the decoration was awesome and the attention was good!! The bread of the burgers is not the best, but it was delicious anyway. The best thing they have are the Pitchers, very cheap!!
Terrible experience. We went there with a group and all ordered our entrees. I ordered just a side order of macaroni and cheese because I’m kind of strapped for cash. All the people I was with ordered their food, and the reviews on it were very mixed, some saying it was okay and some saying it wasn’t very good. Afterwards, after mediocre food and service, we got the check and they informed us that they wouldn’t split it and it was up to us. So we sat down and tried to figure out how much it was between us. On top of that, they’d added an 18% tip so we couldn’t decide that for ourselves, and they definitely didn’t deserve 18%. So we all had to pay for the tip and the tax and the food, and after we finally split it ourselves and gave it to them, and then waited for a long time for them to use our cards, and then informed us that it didn’t add up right (we just divided it by 5, so it was right), and so they just added another dollar to each of our cards. This was an awful experience, and I will definitely not return at any point. I paid almost 8 dollars for a small side bowl of macaroni and cheese.
The number one rated hamburger fails to live up to it’s ranking. Onion rings had a coating that must contain concrete.Still I would give it another try someday.
I’ll admit, their toasted ravioli was delicious. A friend and I split 6 but I could’ve easily taken all 6 by myself. However, their burger was slightly disappointing. I got the 5 oz one and just wasn’t into it at all–there was nothing really special, and I could’ve saved $7 and had one my dad barbecued. The restaurant had a good atmosphere and Delmar Loop is always fun, but I’m not sure I’d go back here.
Smells like the awful air freshener they have in the women’s restroom…couldn’t get that soapy smell outta my nose….YUK!!!
Horrible service for groups. I went to Blueberry Hill with a group of 10 friends because it seemed like a place that was accustomed to dealing with large groups. When we got the check, they informed us that they could not do separate checks. Now, they are located next to a college campus and have seating for large groups so you’d think they would have an option for separate checks. But whatever, that was okay, we thought we could throw in our credit cards and have them put our orders on the cards. But no, they wanted us to do the math ourselves, between 11 people. And even worse, the check did not even list the entree names or seat numbers! It was just a jumbled, unorganized list of numbers and we had to somehow figure out how to split the check and write down each price to put on each card on a little piece of paper. It was ridiculously archaic. Furthermore, they charged us a mandatory 18% tip, so we could not just leave cash tips and had to do the math for splitting that up too. When we asked the waiter for help he just told us to look at the menu at their prices, but the check just would not add up. Anyways, it was just ludicrous for them to expect their customers to sit at the table doing math for 15 minutes instead of having a system for splitting checks, especially imagining how many college students and large groups they got.And though the check problem was the kicker, the overall service was terrible as well. It took us 1 HOUR to get our food and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. They totally missed one person’s order and had to put it in again 30 minutes after waiting. And the waiter didn’t come around to take our order for ages at the beginning, never came to check on us or give us our check so we had to get someone to get up and find the waiter for the check after 15 minutes of waiting for him to come by. Absolutely horrible.
