The lady who took our order (I assume she is also the owner) was extremely nice. She brought a complimentary bowl of rice for my baby as we were ordering. Pepper steak is pretty good. Crab rangoons are the best I’ve had in a while. Overall, great experience
Great Healthy Take-Out. This is some of the healthiest and best-tasting Chinese food I’ve had, and it can be difficult to find both of these in the same restaurant. We get take-out from here a couple times a month for a for a few years and have never been disappointed. It’s always well-seasoned and fresh and never so salty that you feel bad later like many other places, since no msg is used. There are many good vegetarian options for me and lots of options with meat for my husband.
OK food, CRUMMY service. Food was decent but completely ruined by poor customer service. Upon walking into the restaurant, no one greeted us so we figured it was seat yourself. However, the empty tables were dirty with food scraps strewn about. It was a good 10 min before the owner came to give us menus and offer us drinks (then we had to repeat our order for 3 waters, 4 times before the owner could remember) and to semi-clean the table. I was ready to run out but my wife and her friend wanted to stay after hearing the food was quite tasty. Given that we weren’t too hungry, the three of us ordered two meals to share. The owner asked us if this was enough (with the underlying tone that we were being cheap). As a Chinese American, I am aware of the reverse racism that goes on in my community, and it’s annoying. The waitress and owner were so busy kissing the asses of non-Asian customers that they essentially ignored us. Food here wasn’t good enough to put up with the poor service. Glad I don’t live in St Louis!
Owner was a little rough but food was delicious!! Food was fresh and a good size portion. African American Server was absolutely delightful and provided some of the best customer service we had in a long time. Would def visit again.
I cannot believe the rudeness…. I witnessed a customer being so unimaginably and rudely treated and after she left the dining area, the owner had the gall to speak ill of the offended customer to her companion. Incredible. Never, ever will I spend money at this place.
THIS PLACE SUCKS!. Never attend this hellhole place that calls themselves a Chinese restaurant. First and foremost, the food is utter crap. Unless you want to put your body through agony, I would think twice about dining here. Also, the service is horrible as the waiters are overbearing and in your face. Additionally, we asked them to heat up our soup as it was barely warmer than room temperature, and they said they couldnt…because their workers were too busy, meanwhile we were the only customers in the restaurant. Lastly, I ordered chicken with broccoli, which was covered with a gelatin like substance. Out of courtesy I took a few bites to make appear as though I ate the food, but I knew better. I would rather sift through a garbage can on the street than eat here again!
The hot and sour soup is the best I’ve ever had. And it’s vegetarian. And it has fresh herbs. Everyone must try!
