No longer kayaks, if is Kaldi’s now.
It’s ok. The French toast was good. Chai tea was very weak. The dude that brought our food never said hello or smiled. He mumbled what our order was and stood there and stared at us like we are idoits. And saw another guy do the same thing to the table beside us. Maybe hire some nicer people and we will return.
Favorite Coffee Shop in STL. I recently moved away from St. Louis, and one of the first places I miss is Kayak’s. It’s a great place to go if you’re a student at WashU — whether you want to study or take a study break. The environment is really nice and relaxed, and the sandwiches are amazing. Some of my favorites are the curry chicken salad and the Cortina. The side salad is one of the best I’ve had, and the blueberry smoothie is awesome.
Went here last night for a quick cup after dinner on the hill. They serve Kaldis coffee and know how to make an Americano where it isn’t watered down. Fun atmosphere! Will come here after visits to Forest Park
Always tasty. I’ve never had a bad meal here – the sandwiches are always delicious and fresh and their hummus is really good too. I eat here whenever i’m in the area.
Mediocre food, mediocre coffee.
Don’t Bother. No self-respecting adult needs this kind of place. The service here is so indifferent to the customer, it’s a wonder anyone comes back. Even regular customers aren’t acknowledged. At this point, neighborhood loyalty and convenience has lost its appeal. We will never return. Never.
