Hit the spot!. Waiting for a show at the pagent and spotted Piccione, owners mothers maiden name. Let me see, I’ll take a cannoli, Baci, coconut macaroni and pecan butter and a coffee. like it we’ll enough, I’ll take a pound of cookies to go!stlfoodsnob
Typical midwest pastry…dessert.. Very sweet, lacking flavor. Baba rum does not contain rum or ameretto, just sweet syrup. Not sponge cake, just cake, even a bit too firm. Italian donuts are not Italian. It is closer to airport cafes, overpriced novelty will make your stomach sour. I don’t know what part of Italy you went to but that is not the right recipe or ingredients. Most won’t be able to tell and will support the location.
Love Piccione!. Some of the best pastry in town, period.
Love it. Piccione pastry is my new favorite treat!!
Good terramiaaou. Good Teamisu. Excellent canolis. Hope they are around for a while. been there several times. Good goffee drinks!
Best European style pastry in STL. The aroma at Piccione Pastry tells you that you are at the right place. The moment that stepped my foot over there i knew that will be my favorite pastry place in St Louis. Place reminds of pastry places in Spain or Italy. Coffee is great as well. Everything that I tried was delicious. Cream in the cream puff so far the best that I had. Great place to sit outside and watch people.
I visited this place on May 31, 2013, and boy was it an experience. When we first walked in it was very nice neat, and everyone was friendly, they were not engaging but they are friendly. When my friend and I picked out a few desserts to try they helped us to the table and made small talk then. We had a few cannolli’s and a rum bata with cream. The cannoli’s were good, but not better than the ones served up on The Hill. The run bats was good, but I do not have Anything to compare it with. Are the desserts worth the price? That could be negotiated. Were the desserts good? They were good enough to make me come back and try something else. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends, it is in a convenient location and I lie the atmosphere. What really won me over is the fact that the tornado sirens were going off, and instead of kicking is out onto the street like some of the other businesses, instead they showed us where we could go and be safe.
