The food was good but I felt like the staff was trying to hard. Every dish they brought they described for us and then waited for us to comment on it. I appreciate that they feel the need to let us know the love and effort that wen in to every dish but it was a bit much. The salsa was awesome but there was nothing to put it on aside from some arapas. Having no chips for the guac, only arapas, made it awkward also. We’ll probably go back.
Unusual, delicious, fun. We went on a whim tonight and were delighted with the ambience, quality of food and overall nice people who work there. It’s a somewhat seasonal menu. We ordered whole shrimp with smoked jalapenoes & dried mango, corvino fish tacos and fiddlehead ferns with a mildly lemony barley. Everything was well-cooked and unique in flavor! We sat at the bar and had a great time talking to the bar tender/server and another gentleman, who provided a bit of the history of this restaurant and others owned by the same group. Highly recommend.
