Horrible! Worst Vietnamese EVER
Worst Thai food I have ever had. This restaurant should be ashamed to serve up what they want to pass off as Authentic Thai food. Insulting. Could not get passed first bite.
Meh.. The food here has gone downhill over the last several years. Several of the better selections are not available anymore. I was actually looking for the dish that the restaurant is named after and it wasn’t here either. It’s not horrible, but it’s not great and there really are better places to spend your money than here.
Food was not even mediocre. Noodles were chewy and to add spice they just pour in Thai chili flakes which makes all the dishes taste the same. You would think that with multiple Thai restaurants in close proximity they would make a better attempt at being competative. Easily the worst possible Thai food I have ever eaten.
Decor was nice, service slow… Food was inconsistant. Tom Yum Soap was great, Papaya salad was acceptible, the enterees were below average… Give it a pass….
The food is on point. But the service sucks. The ordering process was confusing and the waitress didn’t seem to understand what we wanted. We only got threw explaining part of our order before giving up and hoping for the best.
Just not good.. Thai Gai Yang, despite its wonderful interior decor, is a disappointment. I, an avid fan of Thai food, went for lunch with a party of eight, all of us ordered different dishes. At the end of the meal, the only two items anyone really enjoyed were the tempura served as an appetizer and the Coca Cola. The area is home to other Thai restaurants, literally across the street, worth patronizing.
