Quality oysters. Great oysters, either raw or rockefeller.
If you like warm beer this is the place for you! Nice place. Nice staff. But they have no control over the equipment. With so many places in Soulard. This is not the one you need to be at.
Best Bloody Marys
Good Food. We dropped in for lunch. I ordered the sampler of crawfish etouffee, seafood gumbo and red beans and rice. My husband had the catfish poboy. He loved it and so did I. I didn’t like the crawfish etouffee as much as at Broadway Oyster Bar. It was more fishy tasting than others. Maybe it was too much crawfish in the etouffee. We loved the atmosphere and our server was really nice. Overall, we’d go back.
Had been years since I was in there. Took a friend for her birthday. Cajun Chicken sandwich was wonderful. The homemade peppercorn ranch dressing made the salad.
Seafood missed the boat. Sad to see a once solid performer to suffer during these economic times. Seafood quality has really dropped.Cutting corners is obvioius. Crab cakes mostly fake crab.Cajun items still good choice. Service can suffer when busy…understaffed during our visit. Hope they can do better on our next visit.
From bad to worse. With a newer menu one would think better, food?!? The Crab cakes are 5% crab and 92% fake crab and 3% whatever…… The cajun platter offers 3 types of cajun cuisine. All 3 came out cold and had a chemical taste. They couldn’t even heat the corn bread muffin. Just awful food all around. Don’t eat here.
