Stopped in for actual food for the first time. Food was pretty good, I highly suggest the fried green tomatoes! Had the chicken spedini for entree, was also delicious. Max n cheese was tasteless though.
Great service, neat ambiance, delicious food.
Loved it!. Never been there before. We’re from central Illinois and stopped in for lunch after visiting St. Louis for the day. Best fried green tomatoes I’ve had outside of the very deep south! And I’m from Illinois. Husband had pulled pork sandwich and really liked it also!
Be prepared to wait. We arrived there at 10:30 AM and waited for thirty minutes to be seated in an area where all the tables and booths were open. Then waited another hour on our food, then received our ticket which could not be split up and of course had 20% gratuity included. Bottom line, food is decent but their service is terrible. This was my second and last time eating there due to terrible service.
Fake city bar – overpriced lousy serviceTerrible experience…..go anywhere else in Soulard but Molly’s
Excellent food!. We stopped in last Friday evening for supper. We were promptly seated and served glasses of water by the hostess. We were greeted by our waiter and he took our drink orders. We ordered the paneed alligator for our appetizer. I have never had alligator before and what were served was delicious, but was a bit pricey at $12.95. I ordered the jambalaya and my wife ordered the shrimp and crawfish etouffee. We were both very pleased! We will return!
We went to Molly’s this past Friday night. Food was excellent. The alligator Rangoon were crazy good and the touffe was just right. We finished with beignets that were perfectly done. It wasn’t too busy in the dining room but the patio was a little hectic. I will definitely go back.
