A nice little spot for some tasty Chinese food. The decor was surprisingly nice for a typical takeout spot. Newer tables and nice booths for comfortable dining in. Hot/sour soup was loaded with ingredients and delicious. The sesame chicken was pretty good. And the cashew chicken was served with sauce on the side so it was extra crispy with each bite (definitely a plus for those picky about sauces). And finally the bad: Egg rolls were not much to write about and the fried rice was bland and oily. Overall it was a great experience and definitely worth a try!
Start a Family Tradition. Even though I have known about China King for a while, I have been waiting to write this review so I could have a little while longer to keep this place all to myself. Living in a city where there is a Chinese restaurant right around the corner from every McDonalds, people will occupy the nearest Chinese place- but not I. I will travel the extra 15 minutes to go to China King. This Chinese food is amazing. When I eat their food, I do not feel like my sauce is rubber or my meat is processed kittens. I also get a thrill out of not knowing how my order is going to come out because I can’t understand the nice asian woman’s words as she reads me back my order. Not only has China King got the best Chinese food, but they also start family traditions. Every year my family awaits to see what new Chinese calendar they will receive in their stocking for Christmas.
Enough for days. We always have so much food leftover that we can eat for days. I especially like the hot and sour soup!22 Dec, 2011Good Food. We like the crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup and the happy family.
This is my go-to place when I visit SpriMo. Love the lemon chicken and can’t wait to try out pineapple chicken next time home 🙂
Good value. Cheap price with large portions. Beat General Tsao’s Chicken around.
Best takeout around.
China King. This place used to be very good but the last several times we’ve been there the food has been subpar. It is still really cheap though.
