Very average. Egg rolls a…. Very average.Egg rolls are good and the food is cheap. The general chicken is your regular chicken nuggets with a sauce poured over the top. I got three pieces of onion and a slice of carrot with my chicken. There were no peppers and the meal was not spicy. I ordered fried rice, I received overcooked white rice. I plan on continuing my search for decent Chinese food in Springfield.
The Best. This is by far the best Chinese place in Springfield! The amount of food you get for the price is amazing. A family of four can eat for 20 dollars. The food is always fresh and amazing! Highly recommended
Good food, good service, nice and clean.
Simply The Best on Republic Road. I have eaten here as long as China Star has existed on Republic Road. It’s the cleanest Asian restaurant I have been in barring none. Food is alway exceptionally, never varies in taste, unlike some reviews I have read here and I disagree with whole heartedly. China Star is as solid as it gets when it comes to clean food prep and outstanding product. You can’t go wrong eating here.

In a rush…stop here. I loved their General Chicken before, but they have changed their recipe and it’s just okay…. All their other entrees are good, just wished they would go back to the old General Chicken…
