Couldn’t eat it!. Mexican food for people who don’t know authentic. Canned filling in some recipes. Chimichangas are my favorite . Couldn’t get past two bites and traded with a friend who couldn’t eat her enchilada. Two more bites by both of us and quit. Bad service. Prepare to be ignored. Glad it was a gift certificate since paying the tip seemed like overpaying.
Although the salsa was good And the price is reasonable ,the remainder of the food was very bland and the service was terrible.
This is the only review you need to listen to…… If you want reasonably priced, excellent Mexican food, look no further. This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Springfield. There is no other place we have found that can match this and believe me, we have looked. After Carlos O’Kelly closed down, we were lucky enough to try this place and they are 10x better than O’kelly. Excellent food, quick and friendly service and the FIFA World Cup is playing on every t.v. I recommend the Chile Rellenos. The best. The Flautus plate is delicious. Rice is amazing. Beans are very good. If you have given up on good Mexican food in Springfield, do yourself a favor and try this place.

Blandsville. This is the place to take your friend who only likes 3 things, chicken fingers, peperoni pizza, and they think Mexican food. I had taco, enchilada, salsa, and my friend had Chile relleno. Nothing was bad, but nothing worth reading except for sustenance either. Zero spices.
Great TexMex. Walked here from hotel. Atmosphere was jubulant with many folks having a good time…live music, happy hour beer! I had the El Puente Fajitas. Great mix of different meats. Way too much to eat. Get it and split it with your love. The food was very fresh, hot and not too spicy.
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Springfield! Good service and delicious food.
