I use to work here when I was in high school. It was the first job I’ve ever had. The owner Mimi pretty much scarred me from working in restaurants. She is an awful & rude person. She yells at about everyone, including her husband & kids who would come help out. She talk badly to & about her customers. Also, to her employees. Most of the items on their menu sucks. Except the crab ragoons & chicken fried rice. Idk how many times I’ve apologized to customers cause of the owners attitude towards them. If you don’t want to be berated, I suggest you don’t go to this restaurant.
I would never recommend this restaurant. very slow service. went inside to order take out, and they took so long, over 20 min wait when i was in a rush. the food was awful, and the take out containers dirty, and they gave me the wrong food, and overcharged my credit card. I will never go back. I called to complain and instead of an apology I received a very nasty reply. They lost my business, and my referrals! They rank a zero in my opinion.
Could have been better.. Today I had the Cashew Chicken special. 5 bucks and some change. Large portions but chicken was way to soggy. It might have been crispy at one time but not anymore. Plus the flavor was just shockingly bland. I know its just a brown type gravy but soggy breading and all was something I would expect to get at an old folks buffet. Egg roll was forgettable, rice more of the same, and the won-tons tasted of old oil. Yuck. I would say value portions for the money but in this town you can get Chinese at this price on almost any corner. And I suggest you do so.
I ordered sweet and sour chicken to go around 9:30 on a Sunday night. I got it home about ten minutes later and was extremely disappointed. The chicken breading was soggy. Some of the pieces tasted scorched. The majority of the chicken tasted like it had been sitting out for some time and then refried before serving. The wontons were inedible. They were not crisp, again indicating that they had been sitting out for a long time. The taste was awful. They seemed to absorb the flavoring of some other fried dish. They tasted like they were made days ago. What, you say, should I expect for $4.18? I expect fresh food, regardless of the time of day and irrespective of the price. If they insist on selling old food then they shouldn’t be in business. I’ve had better at this location before, but I’m afraid this experience has permanently soured me.
Chris Elliot must have had a better lunch than I did because mine tasted like all the other cheap Chinese joints in town. BLAND. Nothing exciting here…
Yummy. The potstickers are the best Ive had. The eggdrop soup can be a meal in its self. I like the cashew chicken, even if its not traditional chinese…its tasty, and a great value for the money!
Less than impressed. The sweet and sour chicken was good, but the fried rice was plain and boring and the wontons had one small piece of meat in them. It was subpar. However, the egg roll was delicious.
