Place was packed, but we were here for a private party and they had a nice, quiet closed off room for us which was nice. The food was decent, the service could have been a little better. I would try it again.

Go for the soup & appetizers ONLY. We went for a late lunch on Mother’s Day (4 of us) The cheddar ale soup & homemade pretzels really are to die for…!!My husband ordered the chicken strips (appetizer) and the portion is HUGE. Waffle fries are $2.00+ extra though. They were amazing honestly. My daughter ordered the mac & cheese. The sauce was runny and had very little flavor. I ordered the Chicken Brewdinski (?) It was HORRIBLE. It smelled like vinegar & tasted like the entire dish had been doused in vinegar (even the chicken was soggy from the sauce) I took 1 bite, made my husband try it and had the waitress take it away. I ordered the pulled pork nachos in its place. They were ok for nachos. The only other issue I had was the service. We had a very sweet girl take our orders and she explained someone else was actually our server. I think she must have been training? Our actual server did nothing. She did not refill our glasses, stop at our table other than to bring out our food. The girl in training was the one that actually served us.
I can’t believe a college town has amazing food!! It was plate licking amazing! The chicken apple roulade was down right amazing! Even the seasoned veggies were good and I hate veggies!! Good price point too!
Great place to go if you want to hang out with friends or family. Multiple televisions for the guys to watch the sports games, a bar for alcoholic beverages, and even seating areas for the woman to sit and talk with one another. The service and food were both great. I went with a large group and the waiter did a marvelous job at topping off everybody’s drinks. Will definitely be revisiting this place again during football season!
Great Beer and Food:. Be sure and get the flight… REALLY great beers that are interesting in flavor that change with the seasons. One of the few places (and, I travel all over the country) that I would order from the menu top to down. GO HERE if you are looking for great comfort food with great service as well as great beer!
We started off with the hummus, which was a little bland until we stirred in the tapenade. I had the pulled pork fajita salad. The pork was dry and tasted a bit stale. My mom had the fish and chips, which is usually her favorite. She complained that the fish was too fishy. The waffle fries that came with them were well seasoned and pretty tasty. The service was okay, but all things considered we probably we won’t be back.
