Food is tasty but….. I will admit the food is very tasty however the service is hit and miss. Every couple of times we go, tables with the same numbers of customers who were sat after us get their food long before we do. I am a previous restaurant owner and have worked in food service for many years. Tonite was their ten year anniversary but the timing of the food was subpar. If would have felt a little better if the waitress would have at least acknowledged the extended wait.
I Always Make Time for Tasia!. I should disclose this directly: back when it opened in 2005, I was part of the original staff. I worked there for 5 years until I moved to New York, and every time I come back to Springfield, I eat at Tasia. There’s nothing like Tasia’s Hot and Sour Soup, Crab Rangoon (it’s homemade), their Pad Thai, Chop Chae, Vegetable Deluxe, or their sauces: Sczechaun, Sweet and Sour, Sesame, Orange, Firecracker…obviously, I could go on all day, but it’s all just so good that I have to! Everything is fresh, all the sauces are homemade, the entire restaurant is very clean, and the dishes can meet any special dietary needs such as vegetarianism, a gluten-free diet, or allergies. I love the food, know how it’s prepared, know how the kitchen treats it (my little sister works there now and keeps me up to date), and I know the owners. Perhaps former employees aren’t encouraged to review their own restaurant, but during the 4 years it’s been since I worked there, I know plenty of people who worked in the food industry and won’t go back to eat at their former places of employment. So I like to boast to everyone that when I come home to visit I still return to Tasia once every few days to eat something different each time. It’s the best Asian food in Springfield, hands down, and worth coming home to! I absolutely love it! vegetarianbuffalo.com
Amazing food it’s a must try! Hot and sour soup and Thai Fried Rice are the items to order. It has everything from American style Asian to authentic Asian food. My kids and my grandparents love to eat here. Everything is made to order, and be made in any combination you want. It caters to even the most picky of eaters. The last few times we’ve eaten here we have had incredible service. This is a can’t miss Springfield restaurant.
The happy family with Sechuan sauce was awesome-so was the Tasia roll!
I love eating at Tasia, it’s a great atmosphere and has really attentive and friendly staff. Just went today and had excellent food. Love how nearly all items on menu are interchangeable with any meat or vegetables, and how their meat is actually high quality unlike some other Asian restaurants in the area. Hot and Sour Soup is amazing. Doesn’t have the widest variety of sushi, but the rolls they have are delicious and very reasonably priced. Great place to eat!!!
Beware of rocks. I have eaten here several times and the food is always great but the last time(earlier this year) I had a pea sized rock in my rice. The staff was very apologetic and took care of things though.
Sucks. Overpriced food first of all, for the taste. the general chicken was too tangy, the crab rangoon was generic. the sushi roll was okay, the best thing that we got. and the cashew chicken was mediocre. i will not be returning here.
