Ryan, a customer of December 25th. That was never know by Kira or myself Ryan. So very sorry to hear this and I will have a talk with the server. She was very wrong and should have only charged you for what you wanted. Is there anything I can do for you that would put this situation right? Perhaps a full refund and my sincere appology? I was forced to pay for 2 plates of Sushi when I didn’t order it.. I ate here on Christmas. I ordered Sushi I picked out the sushi I wanted. I was brought out 2 plates of sushi 2 of every thing I ordered. I let the waitress know I did not order it. She said well we already made it so ill give you 20% off of the plate. I paid and left right away. I found this to be very bad service.. Food wasn’t bad at all. Manager should have taken 2nd plate of Sushi back and accepted the mistake. I was forced to pay for it.. Will never be back!!!!!!
Homemade soy sauce, great service and fantastic food! We had sushi and noodles…I can’t decide which I enjoyed more. As for the service, at one point I looked around for my beverage..thinking I may be spilled it on the floor because it disappeared! Ten seconds later our server came back with a refill. I’ll definitely be back here!
If you are in to paying $3.00 extra dollars for a small portion of fried rice with FROZEN vegetables in it, then this is the place for you. It even had corn included. The food was absolutely disgusting. The sushi was very good, but other than that, it’s awful. The prices are outrageous for what you’re getting. A kid’s meal is over seven bucks. I do not recommend.
We came from out of town and love the hospitality of Fred and Kira @ Wayo Japan. I love the wasabi cucumbers and miso soup. My daughter’s favorite is all or any sushy and her brother says bring on the creamy ribs. But we saved room for the green tea fried ice cream (not sure on name) but know you died and went to heaven you ate it. Yummy. If I lived closer, I would go just for dessert sometimes….thinking of franchising another Wayo out towards STL? 🙂
Great atmosphere and a friendly staff. The sushi was fantastic as well as our entrees!
My friend and I go to Wayo frequently. She gets the salmon nigiri and fire Viking roll and I get the Wayo Special Roll. Although not the best sushi in town, it’s still pretty darn good.
