So So at Best. After driving by for 5 years we decided to give this place a try. I ordered shredded brisket, slaw, and sweet potato fries. The brisket was underwhelming, similar to what I would expect from a grocery store. Lacked flavor, and a bit fatty. I’m big on value and quantity. The side of fries fell way short, only about 20 in the order, with the majority being shorties. The slaw was so so as well. On the upside, the sauce, both the regular and hot & spicy were very good. The woman who took my order , Melissa, was very friendly and personable. Overall I don’t think I’ll go back. We are a bit spoiled with all the great barbeque in the Kansas City metro, Rosedale being one of my favorites. I may have hit it on an off day, so don’t be afraid to try it yourself.

MMM MMM Good. The ribs are to die for, falling off the bone, tender, moist and flavorful. Portions were good, sides were fresh, hot and overall great. Place was packed, wait staff was buzzing by at speed of light but kept our drinks full, checked on us consistently plus friendly and approachable. This experience was shared by all in our party and were going back tonight with more friends. A new favorite.
The food was good but the service staff was OK at best. We meet the owner Russ he was great
