Friendly Bar that happens to have Food. We’ve visited Bistro 303 every year or two. I like the atmosphere, which is basically a neighborhood LGBT bar, where most customers seem to know one another. Being from out of town, we don’t know anyone. But we still have a good time. The servers have been both friendly as well as efficient in waiting on our table. We’ve only had appetizers, which were fine, if unremarkable. The menu focuses on appetizers and sandwiches, but also contains pastas and other main courses. I would recommend the bar as a good place to stop between traditional meal times, or when you are more interested in a libation than in a full meal. Prices are reasonable. Come as you are. Leave happy.
Class Act Welcomes Diversity. We knew Bistro 303 was an upscale LGBT pub, but a recent visit for dinner put it on our radar as one of our favorite places to get an upscale meal at bargain prices. The well designed menu featured something for every taste, and the food quality was great! The Country Pate appetiser was a delight, and the Steamed Mussels were delicate and sweet. If there was anything lacking it might be small servings of the crispy and fresh baguettes that accompanied both these offerings. A decent wine list, with both glass and bottle choices, made this an evening out we could repeat often, and bet on it-we will!
