I personally love tea drops, this is the first place in KC I discovered that had bubble tea. I think the people are wonderful, the tea is great and it’s a good environment to chat with friends.I use to go so much the lady would pretty much predict what I was gonna order.Rose chai

The worst service ever. Not long ago a friend and I drove out in search for good bobbletea. Having never been to tea drops we decided to go. When we got there we went up to order there was only one girl working there. My friend ordered coconut bobble tea and I honeydew. I guess she miss understood the order because she mixed the two orders together. Not only that from the very beginning she seem very rude and snotty. She talked on the phone the whole time she was making our tea and not only that when we confronted her about the mixup she gave us such a rude stare while still on the phone. She made us new teas and walked away making it seem it was our fault that she made the wrong orders. When we planned on going to get the bobble tea, we were excited to try new place but instead we walked out very very irritated and full with rage. I just wanted to throw away our orders and ask for our money back. She was in very need of getting fired. I don’t know how she has lasted there as an employee. I would highly recommend Lollicup tea zone near the river market over tea drop hands down!
Nice place. I try to stop in as often as i can. relaxing environment. always get the cappucino bubble milk on ice.
Relaxing lounge. A great place to curl up with a book and enjoy your beverage. I recommend the bubble tea.
Plan to wait 15 minutes. My fiancee and I went here on Saturday afternoon around 4:45 PM. There was a group of 4 that had entered right before us, and were waiting to order. However, there was only 1 employee in the store at that time. She was in the back room for at least 10 minutes. I think she was preparing a new batch of the boba balls for the drinks. But never once did she say she’ll be right out, or please wait, or anything like that.To make matters worse, about 5:00 PM a second girl who apparently works there arrived and then spent 5 minutes chatting with one of her friends at the front door. Once the 1st woman came to take the orders, this second girl got behind the counter and started helping. Why didn’t she go back there when there was a like 6 people long?!?!?Anyway, for a tea shop, tea is tea. It’s hard to make a bad tea. We did ask for skim milk, and of course, we received whole. I would recommend Lollicup in the City Market over Tea Drops any day!
