Awesome brisket. Best BBQ brisket I’ve ever had! Really glad I checked this place out. The place is nothing fancy, but the service is friendly, the atmosphere is warm, and the food is great. Don’t pass this place up just because it’s in a gas station; you won’t be disappointed.
Great value. The staff is possibly the most courteous staff of my regular restaurants. They always remember their regular customers and give you the extra value you deserve. I love buying meat by the pound and having sandwiches for lunch all week.
The food is good at best. This place used to rock, but has slowly backed off its awesomeness. It’s unorganized, needy, sloppy, and needs TLC. The food in a place like this should shine, and let you look past the ugly appearance… But, in this case it does not. Great local place, but not the best use of your disposable income.
I am an avid BBQ cook and eater. I tried blues and was not impressed. The food was OK, doesn’t really taste as though it’s smoked at all and was a little dry. But all in all OK. Really good sauces and cheap for BBQ, but just OK.
Not my favorite. The meat is okay but not a good deal and the sides are less than that.
Good BBq. Really good bbq, great bbq sauces, love the pulled pork sandy.
Just BBQ, plain and simple. Let me paint you the picture. You walk up to a gas station and inside is a door that leads you to Blue’s. There are maybe 3 tables and it is the size of a hallway. Expectations are down until we see the meat. The ribs are drenched in sauce and so tender. It’s also the best price we’ve paid for BBQ on this trip as of yet.
