Do Not Eat At This Place. I just had the worst meal I have eaten in a very long time at Caf Italia.I have eaten from park vendors that made better food. I was told the specials one of which was spaghetti with garlic lovers sauce. I was never told that it came with Alfredo this may be a house dish so I sent it back as I was not in the mood for this and asked for spaghetti with Marianna. My meal came out with a tomato Bisk sauce the sauce was watery and thin. I was running out of time so I decided to just eat this mess on my plate. I am a foodie so I am aware that this dish was neither good nor Italian. An Italian sauce should not be runny also a Bisk sauce should not be on a main dish with beef. The real problem with the meal is the taste the sauce was sour and the meat was bland. I will not be back to this establishment unless it burns to the ground and that will be only to make sure that it is gone.

I like but this place is on the decline. They need to get back to Italian roots and have more fresh pasta dishes. Quality control is an issue.
Was here about a year ago and really liked it. Don’t know what happened in the last year but they are missing something. Food quality just isn’t what it used to be. Atmosphere is intimate and quiet which I would consider a plus. There is a better choice however 2 blocks away a ciao mambo and that will make it hard to find a reason to return.
