Cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. This charming little gem is tucked away in the decaying part of downtown Billings. It’s unfortunate because it’s quaint and immaculately clean–I think I could eat off the carpets! Staff was nice but not able to tell me how to find them, nor was this information on the website. it took us 60 miles of wandering and three different sets of directions (Stay away from any gas station attendant in the whole of the city if you need directions) before we finally found the hotel. Prices are good but having to stare at a half demolished building for a view was not helpful. There is a nice little restaurant connected to the hotel, and lots of stuff to look at downtown, including a woman’s prison. Even though the rooms were immaculate, staff was friendly, the inconvenience of trying to locate the hotel, and its situation in the heart of the wrong side of town will prevent me from returning. But, if you’re in the area and in need of a clean, charmer, I strongly encourage you to give DR a try.
