Average. Supremely average pizza, extra heavy on the grease.
We were there today. The food was great. As for the service, Jody did an awesome job. We were a large group and Jody has some other tables and she took excellent care of our group. On this everyone at our table agrees.
Best pizza in town, no question. The service can be spotty but the food’s worth the wait. Go in, sit down, watch Billings go by out the window and get ready for some amazing pizza!
Very good pizza. Wood-fired oven makes for great thin crust. Good selection of toppings. The place itself is a dive, so if you’re looking for ambiance, you won’t find it here. As for service: it was a one man show when I dined. In addition to baking my pizza, he waited on me. He did both jobs well. Fortunately the joint wasn’t busy.
Thumbs up but…. Very wonderful pizza! Ya the service needs work. I have avoided them on occasion because of this.
Delicious Food- Worst Service in Town. Let me start by saying this: their food is to die for. It is always delicious and I have never had a problem with their food.But, the service is consistently terrible. Today was the last time where I can justify the service being so terrible just because the food is so great. My mother and I got there at noon. There were only two other tables. We ordered at 12:05. We did not get water for fifteen minutes and was never checked on once, neither were the other two tables. We never got silverware and were never told the status of our order and why it was taking so long. Finally at 12:40, I left the dining area to find someone to ask about my order (the other table had to do the same and they got there 20 minutes earlier than us). They told me they had just put in my lasagna and it would be out in two minutes. Ten minutes later, they come to tell me it will be right out after i complained a second time, telling them I needed to be back at work at 1:00. I asked for them to just bring me my tab and put it in a to-go box. We got our food at 12:55, and they did not even put my mom’s pizza in the box! Other tables were having this same service, one table did not even get their order taken for thirty minutes. There is no excuse for this- even if they had a lot of to-go orders, you still need to take care of your clients that are there eating!TERRIBLE SERVICE. The worst I have ever had in my life. I almost thought it was a joke, like it was going to be some reality show. And this was not the first time that I’ve had bad service.Sadly, it will be the last time I’ll eat at Guido’s. It is a shame, the food is so so good, but I cannot give my money to a restaurant that has this awful of service. It is as if they do not even have a waitress- just the cooks.
I love this place. We get the guys from work together and go here all the time. Best pizza in town!
