Nothing but praise. I have nothing but praise for this place. The food was great and reasonably price. When we were there, they had chicken fried steak for the special and it was huge and it was only $8. But what makes this special is the owners. My wife, Shannon, forgot her purse there and didn’t realize until 2 hours later by which time they were closed. After a little while we were able to locate the owner. We decided to drive by his house after finding his address on line. He said they had found her purse. He then agreed to go back to the cafe and get my wife’s purse. That is what I call customer service. I will recommend this cafe to everyone and will definitely go back.

Lunch at The Hog. I had a tuna salad sandwich which wasn’t ruined with too much or too large celery. In fact it was very good. The tomato soup was just average. I like the atmosphere. The customers and those behind the counter seem like real people.28 Apr, 2011Good for Breakfast Too. This is a breakfast and lunch place. Down home. The waitresses and others are very nice. I had two eggs over easy-done perfectly-together with some sausage-tasty-and some hash browns-that’s what ketchup is for I suppose, and some just right white toast to soak up the egg yolks as you break them. If you can’t do this well, then you shouldn’t be in the business. It was done very well.
