Indian Food Varies by Region. One reviewer stated the dishes were thin – I agree, however it should be noted that Indian dishes are naturally going to be fairly different from region to region. I don’t think this should stop anyone from giving Mirch a try, as the spices and flavors are just as potent as dishes from other areas of the country – it’s just a matter of texture differences in some cases. I experienced their lunch buffet for the first time today and am extremely pleased with everything I tried. The paneer makini was excellent, as was their house potato dish. Both rice varieties were wonderful, and the kheer was top notch for dessert. Service was prompt and friendly, clean atmosphere. Anyone who understands and appreciates the vast variety found within Indian cuisine will enjoy this place.
Amazing!!. We are so excited to have a authentic Indian restaurant in town! Not only is it authentic but it’s so fresh, like moms back there making it! I have been to a TON of indian restaurants in the cities and this one has such a fresher taste! The naan is delicious! I’m not going to lie but I have been there for lunch three times this week!
Excellent and authentic. This place is excellent – don’t stress about the one bad comment below. If you are used to Americanized Indian food, this place may not be what you expect. That’s because it’s one of the few times I’ve gone to a restaurant in the U.S. and gotten food that was like a real Indian home cooked meal. Great food, can’t recommend it enough, even if you decide it’s not your thing you should try it because you’ll get to experience some authentic cuisine.
Super friendly staff, very tasty food and the menu changes daily. The chef has over 300 recipes so that means you can come almost every day of the year and taste something new!
Sue. Buffet choices were thin and gruel like. The naan was thin and tortilla like. Nice flavor tho. Dont think we will return.
