Never will I go to this bar again…. It’s pretty horrible when you buy $200 worth of alcohol and tip very nicely, then be told to leave because a customer that is eating at the bar with his mother who is not drinking gets mad because we were too loud? We just got Married too by the way… then be told to go to Hooligans instead. Then to have the bartender be a total dick and cutting us all off when we weren’t even intoxicated. Will never go there again. Horrible customer service and not very friendly.
Greet beer, Great food and good service!. One of my favorite restaurants as the food is always good, the prices are fair and the beer is great! Also they have the most friendly and attentive servers. This is a must eat if your downtown for either lunch or Dinner! Definitely a well managed restaurant!
If you are from out of state do not go here. I am from out of state and go to college in Billings. I thought that the brew pub would be a good place to go, but apparently the pompous employees know everything there is to know about customers from out of state. They took my drivers license from me claiming that it wasn’t me. I was shocked at how the sheer cockiness of the employees that I dealt with. IF YOU DON’T HAVE A MONTANA LICENSE DO NOT TRY AND GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS.

Good with one major caveat, The chicken on both the oriental salad and BBQ flatbread pizza tasted like 50 year old canned tuna that had been marinating at high temperatures in a dry climate. Once I alerted the waitress of this, sadly nothing was done. I finished what I had paid for, and downed a gallon of water along with it, to ease the saw dust down my throat.
Mediocre at best. Hot cold slaw, poor service. Fries weren’t good – who can’t do fries? Cod was exactly what we deserve for ordering cod in Billings, Montana. Southern mac n cheese was good, but not an enormous serving.
Hmmm…….. Nice table. If what you are in need of is super sodium enriched food, pompous service, and to have your needs completely ignored…. This would seem to be the place. When we asked for ‘OJ and soda’ we received a highly laced with vodka beverage – we prefer not to consume alcohol – but we often choose to eat in pubs/brew houses and have never encountered this. After our food was served we were not able to comment on the ‘sodium issue’ because no one stopped by to see how we were doing. No coffee warm-ups, no refills on soft drinks, etc. The bus girl/water server was very pleasant and efficient though 🙂 We did try contacting manager regarding serving alcohol to nondrinkers and how this might be a problem….. But haven’t heard a word. Overall….. Worst service ever experienced in USA
Food has gone downhill. For many years we really liked eating here. And their beers were always good. But after their remodel a couple years ago, we’ve had one disappointing meal after another. The food quality is just not very good. We kept giving them another chance, but finally gave up on them. Too bad, used to be one of our favorite places.
