Classic American cafe. We eat breakfast here occasionally and have never been disappointed. I am not partial to chicken fried steak, but others I’ve dined with at the Muzzle Loader say it’s very good. Quick friendly service, good sized portions and the food is good and reasonably priced. The large open dining area has a comfortable, friendly feel to it without (usually) being too loud. They remodeled when the smoking ban went into effect (2009), howeve the carpeting still looks shabby. I guess if you choose to have carpeting in a cafe, that’s what you end up with. Recommend this place.

Good food slow service. Took about 2 hours in and out or breakfast and that was being seated immediately
Wonderful Wednesday. The smothered porkchops on Wednesdays are GREAT!!!
