The service was horrible. The cashier didn’t ring up my tea, even after I reminded him twice. The server wanted me to stand in line again to pay. Instead of correcting their error, they made me feel like it was my fault. We had reserved a room for a meeting, but the room was not available to us. The same server told us that the group that was in the room would probably be done soon. We lost 25% of our reserved time due to their lack of management. The place was way too loud. I will not return to this place.
Urban hipness. Has a big-city urban vibe to it…. not the kind of coffee shop you’d expect to find in Billings, Montana. In my experience the coffee is good, but not fantastic. However Off The Leaf is an enjoyable change of pace compared to the more sterile environment of, say, a Starbucks.
While I enjoy the atmosphere and think Billings needed a place like this,I am NOT a fan of their espresso. I have tried it several times, ordering different drinks, and have yet to find anything I love. Go for the atmophere, but if you like you espresso and coffee prepared to be disappointed.
